Supply Chain role in a fantastic part of the UK!


That job title can mean so many different things so to cut to the chase, in this instance we need someone with a strong background in planning and you need experience in chilled food manufacture.  This is a great site that continues to develop, and with a new GM that has a team centred approach, this is a great time to join the leadership team.


The Role

  • Heading up a busy supply chain function across planning, logistics and purchasing
  • Constantly looking to improve efficiencies and mitigate risk across the supply base
  • Drive improvements in all areas
  • Develop a strong team culture
  • Improve efficiencies in planning and materials management pulling disparate systems together to drive an effective process with a robust clear system in place
  • Liaise with key stakeholders at Exec level and within each function to embed improved supply chain processes

  • Strong planning/materials management background with wide experience across the supply chain disciplines

There is certainly a demanding role to be filled here.  The pace won’t be easy and the nature of the product category adds to the complexity.  The team are fantastic with a culture to match.  It needs someone with the knowledge and expertise to bring all the elements of the Supply Chain Function together and to embed it, driving improvements, into the site effectively.
