Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

You’ll be the go‑to person for all HR queries on site, providing practical support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training coordination and general HR administration. Working closely with operations, you’ll help maintain a positive culture, ensure compliance and keep processes running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Support managers with investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes, ensuring fair and consistent practice.
  • Engagement & Communication: Help drive engagement activity, support feedback channels and promote site values.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:  Manage the hiring process, liaise with agencies and deliver a smooth induction experience.
  • Training Coordination: Support training needs analysis, compliance training and development programmes.
  • HR Operations: Maintain accurate records, support payroll and benefits administration, and ensure compliance with UK employment law.
  • Performance & Processes: Assist managers with objective‑setting, reviews and addressing performance issues.

What You’ll Bring

  • Working towards your CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience.
  • Solid HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Confident handling ER cases and advising managers.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A practical, approachable style with excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR systems.
