As National Account Manager you will:

• Maintain and manage the increase in existing retail and foodservice accounts.
• Attract new customers through business development as both the lead and through involvement with the team on other account attraction.
• Work closely with the wider customer service and supply chain team.
• Present to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage the budgets for the customers in your remit.
• Provide accurate sales data for the brand and own label products for your customer base.
• As well as reporting directly to – work closely with the Commercial Director.
• Build a strong relationship with the New Product Development Team for optimum product knowledge.
• Be in close contact with the Accounts function for all invoicing and credit control matters.
• Flexibility in working approach – ideally 1-2 days in the office each week.

 

For this Account Manager role, you will need:

• At least two years commercial experience in either food manufacturing or FMCG categories.
• Detailed understanding and capability of selling into retail and foodservice accounts.
• Detailed approach, able to manage the data for different customers in a deadline driven environment.
• A confident style when presenting to the customer and to internal stakeholders.
• Numerical ability to interpret commercial data correctly.
• Ambitious to deliver in a commercial role with a commitment to the business success.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
