Factory Manager – Food Industry

 

Want to work with a straight talking, inclusive General Manager?  We love working with this client – he builds teams, develops them and retains them.  Having moved to pastures new, he is keen to find a new Factory Manager to add to the current team and is very open to someone ready for a step up.  If you’re not there yet but really want to build your career path there is opportunity to develop so get in touch with the team at Novus.

 

It is a senior operations role and will focus purely on the production teams in the factory – no distraction on other areas, just production.  That will allow for complete saturation in the function and to get to know everyone in the team.  This is a busy factory with short lead times so will suit those who can react at speed, are decisive and make the right call.  Every day is different and in food manufacturing you can’t plan for everything, but the goal is to avoid surprises where possible.

 

There are great plans for the business and the GM leading the site is already making an impact and progress, this next piece of recruitment is a critical part of the plan.

 

You need to be hands on and in with the team, understanding what their challenges are and how the factory really works so you can drive the operational agenda.  Your background must be food manufacturing for retail customers.
